•  Worked  in Public Health Department ,Government of Maharashtra  as:

• Medical Officer, MM&HS Cl II,for 17 years (1976 -1993), including in service post graduation in M.D.P.& S.M.during (1986-1988), promoted  and posted  in MM&HS Cl I  District Health Officer  Cadre
• District Health Officer cadre, for 13 yrs,(1994 – 2006).Retired from Government job due to superannuation at the age of 58 yrs on 30.09.2006
• Worked as surveillance Medical Officer, for  polio  under NPSP (WHO-GOI collaboration) during 2003 to 2005
•  Worked as Nodal officer for ‘Border District Cluster Project  of      UNICEF  in Latur Division during 2001 to 2003
• Worked as Nodal Officer for earthquake disaster health  management in Osmanabad district during 1994-1999.
• Condensed courses  in hospital management at Tata Institute of Social Sciences,Mumbal,Apollo Hospital ,Hyderabad, and at IIM

Ahmedabad.
