Current position: Associate Professor in Department of General Surgery at Mamata Medical college and hospital, Khammam, Telangana (NAAC Grade ‘A’ hospital). This College is rated as one of the top three medical college in Telangana.
Specific work experience: I have 8 years experience of all emergency surgeries like perforation peritonitis, acute appendicitis, intestinal obstruction, blunt trauma abdomen with management of liver kidney, spleen, bowel, gall bladder, urinary bladder injury, resection anastomosis of bowel etc I have worked under Dr Garima Mehta, well known breast cancer surgeon and professor and unit head in department of surgery at R N T Medical College Udaipur and have experience of all kinds of breast surgery like microdochectomy,modified radical mastectomy, excision of fibro adenoma, breast lump,gynaecomastia etc Special experience of institution of neoadjuvant, adjuvant and palliative chemotherapy in breast cancer since 3 years Elective surgical procedures i am well versed with are : Gastrointestinal surgeries namely cholecystectomy, all stomal operations (colostomy, caecostomy and ileostomy), hemorroidectomy, gastrojejunstomy, pyeloroplasty, hemicolectomy, conginital and acquired hernia of all types including incisional and femoral hernia, fistulectomy. Also 7 years experience performing laparoscopic surgeries like lap appendicectomy, lap cholecystectomy, lap adhesiolysis. Actively participated in CME and National Level Conference held by ASICON at AIIMS Campus, Delhi in December 2010 and presented paper on Correlation Between Obesity and High Density Lipoprotein Cholesterol (HDL-C) in Breast Cancer Patients of Southern Rajasthan ‘’ , national level conference held by ASICON (at AIIMS Campus) at Delhi in December 2010. Attended Rajasthan Association of Minimal Access Surgeons workshop organized by Mittal Hospital at Ajmer in December 2010. Attended Basic course of colorectal surgery organized by Colorectal Surgeons of India (ACRSCICON) held at Udaipur in April 2011. Participated in Quiz competition and were among the finalists in national level conference held by ASICON at AIIMS Campus, Delhi in December 2010.
